I wanna be able to do this!!!
So this is about two days late but I lost 4.6 pounds in the past week, bring my total weight loss toooo 17.6 pounds!!! YAY!!!!!
People that I know have even commented on how I look slimmer :)
Though I haven’t done the shred in over a week, mostly I’ve been walking and dancing around the room like a lunatic. :) How is your journey going? Good luck guys and keep up the good work
I’ve lost another 4.4 pounds :) though I’ve been slacking this week!! I really am liking how I can feel my body change with me eating better and working out. How are things going for you guys?
It’s been a week, well technically a week and a half since I changed my lifestyle and so far so good. I originally thought that I weighed 300+ pounds because of the scale I used before, but this morning after walking 2 miles I went to the pharmacy and brought my own scale and found out I actually weigh 269.6 pounds!!! Almost a 40 pound difference which excited me because my goal weight is closer than before but that also means that I have to recalculate everything lol. Anyway I think I will do weekly weigh-in about this time every Wednesday just to see. How are your weight loss journeys going so far? Message me with any tips or ideas for things as far as exercise and diet. Happy 4th of July :)
I never make these posts but here goes, this is my healthy dinner for tonight.
I’m baking chicken, lightly seasoned with salt and pepper. I rubbed regular mustard on it to help it not stick to the pan. Then I boiled/cooked broccoli, no butter or anything and half a cup of brown rice. It wasn’t bad, and my major food groups covered plus I did my 30 day shred workout and I walked for about 30 minutes. All in all a good day. Since I’ve changed my lifestyle and have been being healthier it seems that I’m happier and I have more energy. Sure I get the occasional craving for something that isn’t good for me but that’s when I remember my goal and I try to find a healthier alternative. I hope you all are doing well too. And remember each day is a fresh start. I’m here if you have any questions or you want to talk. :)
So just to let you know a little more about me…I used to be really active, I used to love riding my bike and running around with my friends but as I got older I started to isolate myself and the more I isolated the more I ate and the more I became uncomfortable with myself. It didn’t really help that most of my family is fat, not that I can blame anyone but myself. So anyway, I stopped being active, hanging out with people and doing stuff I liked. Then around the time I was 15 I started going to weight watchers and walking everyday, over the summer I had lost about 30 pounds but I gained it all back in the fall because it started getting colder. Then when I turned 19 I slimmed down alot due to me walking 3 miles 5 times a week, I loved going on early morning walks it really helped me destress and relax but once school started I had to cut back then stop all together. The thing with me is, I know I can lose the weight and exercise but it has to be something I like doing. I like walking, riding bikes (though at this time I don’t own one), and even working out at the gym but I just don’t have the motivation to do it.
So right here, right now I swear that I will start to walk again at least 5 times a week for at least 1 mile. Whether it’s down my old path, going to the library, work or store. And when I wake up or before bed I will get in a solid 10 minutes of exercise at least, even if its a YouTube video. I will eat more lean meat, grilled and baked foods and drink at least 8 glasses of water a day plus tons of fruits and veggies. Hopefully you will be able to make a commitment like this too. :)
